Sara plays Music!

Sara has recorded in the studio and occasionally shared the stage with many amazing and talented musicians including Jay Smar, Van Wagner, Peaches & Wine, Matt Filer, Tom Storm, and Rook.

One day she’ll have her own music on here, when it emerges from its chrysalis to the healing sounds of solfeggio frequency tuning forks, concert bass drums, sutartinės, and whirring synth drones.

If you have a musical project you think Sara would be great on, get in touch!

Sara is best known for her harmonies & her saw skills—she even teaches saw workshops (of course she does!) She also plays washboard, mountain dulcimer, and other various percussion instruments. Sara has been performing with her Free Range Folk family for well over a decade. Most recently, she’s been recruited into SHEnanigans with her dear friends Jess & Dee.

Sara and her husband Kevin performed Bizarre Love Triangle by New Order at her Triage release party/book signing. This event was especially fun because they also performed the entirety of Nancy & Lee! That album and this song both feature prominently in Dispatches from Upstairs.

Sara doing her thing on the Free Range Folk anthem Shit Show, and then doing an entirely different thing on Jess Corbin’s anthem Thanks for Askin’!
